About Panascope

Panascope, founded in Shenzhen in 2007, builds its own medical imaging systems as an independent brand that vertically integrates engineering, technology, and manufacturing resources. The company designs, engineers, and validates every system architecture — digital radiography, magnetic resonance, computed tomography, interventional angiography, ultrasound, and all peripheral devices — with full ownership of product definition and critical interfaces. Panascope works with a select group of world class manufacturing partners (many of whom also serve global imaging leaders), sets the specifications, conducts independent acceptance testing, and takes complete accountability for clinical performance.

The portfolio covers the full diagnostic spectrum. Digital radiography includes floor mounted, ceiling mounted, mobile DR, C arms, and digital fluoroscopy — each configured for general radiography, orthopedics, or interventional guidance. MRI spans 1.5 Tesla superconductive scanners, helium free 1.5 Tesla systems, and permanent magnet solutions at 0.5 Tesla and 0.4 Tesla. CT ranges from 32 slice to 64 slice and 128 slice, balancing dose and resolution. Angiography systems serve vascular and cardiac procedures. Cart based and portable ultrasound units work at bedside, ER, or remote clinic.

The imaging chain also includes contrast injectors that sync with CT/MRI acquisition, X ray dry film imagers, dosimeters for radiation safety, and in house contrast media and X ray film. An imaging chain is only as strong as its weakest link — and the link after the scanner matters as much as the scanner.

From a community hospital’s general radiography room to a regional referral center’s multi scanner suite, Panascope delivers coherence: scanners, workstations, contrast delivery, and film output integrated into a single, supportable system. No chaos of multiple vendors. No collection of boxes. One system that works reliably, backed by people who know how a radiology department runs.

Our Collaborative Model

Panascope integrates engineering depth with scalable production resources under a single brand. The company designs its own imaging systems — from product architecture and image chain calibration to clinical validation and field support. Manufacturing is not outsourced to anonymous third parties; rather, Panascope maintains direct technical oversight and quality control across a vertically aligned network of specialized production centers. These are not “partners” in the loose sense — they are dedicated facilities where Panascope’s own engineers set specifications, audit processes, and sign off on every critical component: X ray tubes, MRI magnets, CT detectors, ultrasound probes, and all associated software.

What radiology departments experience is a unified brand with end to end accountability. The company’s field engineers, applications specialists, and quality team operate as a single, responsive unit — not a layer of middlemen. When a software update or hardware improvement is needed, Panascope’s own engineering team drives the change. Production capacity is scaled through tightly integrated resources that follow Panascope’s quality system, not through loose outsourcing.

This model delivers three practical advantages to radiology departments:

Responsive service without bureaucracy. Field teams are directly accountable to the brand. On site installation, remote troubleshooting, and parts logistics are managed under one roof, with no hand offs to external service entities.

Fair economics driven by vertical integration. By controlling system design and production coordination directly, Panascope avoids the cost layers of unrelated third parties. Competitive pricing and flexible procurement follow naturally.

Short feedback loops from clinic to engineering. When a radiologist reports an artifact or a technologist suggests a workflow change, that input reaches Panascope’s own engineering team directly. Software and hardware refinements deploy in weeks, not quarters.

Accountability is not shared — it is owned outright by Panascope. Every imaging system that carries the name Panascope is the result of the company’s own technology integration, quality protocols, and clinical validation. Trust is built one scan at a time, and the brand stands behind every image.

History

Panascope was founded in Shenzhen in 2007 with a clear engineering mission: to build a truly integrated diagnostic imaging brand — not a repackager of commodity components, but a company that controls the critical layers of technology, integration, and long term support.

From day one, Panascope invested in its own system architecture, image processing pipelines, and clinical validation workflows. The first focus was digital radiography. Instead of simply buying generators and detectors off the shelf, Panascope’s engineering team designed the full acquisition chain — from X ray generation to flat panel readout to image reconstruction — and worked with selected manufacturing partners to produce those subsystems to Panascope’s exact specifications. The result was a family of DR systems (floor mounted, ceiling mounted, mobile) that delivered consistent image quality, intuitive interfaces, and proven reliability — all under a single brand, with a single service team.

That model — vertical integration through design ownership — proved itself. Panascope then expanded into C arms and digital fluoroscopy for interventional suites. For MRI, the company did not wait for off the shelf solutions. It developed its own coil designs, pulse sequences, and workflow software, while partnering on magnet and gradient manufacturing. The portfolio grew to include 0.5 Tesla permanent magnet systems, 1.5 Tesla superconductive scanners, and later helium free 1.5 Tesla technology — a direct response to global helium shortages, engineered entirely under Panascope’s control.

CT followed: 32 slice, 64 slice, 128 slice systems where Panascope defined the reconstruction algorithms, dose modulation strategies, and user interface. Ultrasound and angiography closed the portfolio. Throughout, the company also built out peripheral infrastructure — contrast injectors that communicate directly with Panascope’s own scanners, dry film imagers, dosimeters, and in house contrast media and X ray film. Every component, whether core or accessory, is held to the same internal quality standard.

Today, Panascope’s portfolio mirrors the full structure of a modern radiology department. This breadth is not an aggregation of unrelated products — it is a vertically integrated system where scanners, workstations, contrast delivery, and film output are designed to work as one. A patient’s imaging journey from X ray to CT to MRI is continuous, and Panascope supports that entire journey without handoffs to other brands.
Few dramatic breakthroughs. Instead, steady, disciplined progress: better detector stability, lower dose protocols, faster reconstructions, and a deeper habit of listening to radiologists and technologists. Reliability is not a feature — it is the baseline requirement. One scanner at a time. One brand. One accountable team.

Why the Name “Panascope”

“Panascope” is more than a name—it is the visual and conceptual embodiment of our mission. It fuses Panorama(comprehensive view) with Scope(focused examination), capturing the essential duality of diagnostic imaging: to reveal the broad clinical landscape while enabling precise, localized insight.
This philosophy is crystallized in our logo. The mark is built upon a foundation of Deep Teal and Slate Grey. The teal represents depth, clarity, and calm assurance—evoking the reliable hum of an MRI, the steady glow of a CT console. The grey grounds this vision in the unwavering discipline of engineering, symbolizing the rigor and precision that underpin every system.

At the heart of the wordmark, the letter ‘O’ is intentionally crafted as a targeting reticle—a visual anchor that transforms a vowel into a symbol of diagnostic intent. It represents the focal point of clinical inquiry: the nodule, the stenosis, the fracture. It is our promise to not just image, but to locate and define what matters.

The surrounding geometric form is the architecture that gives this focus meaning. Its interlacing curves suggest both a lens aperture and magnetic field lines, visually marrying the core physical principles of X-ray and MR imaging. This symbolizes our role as an integrator, harmonizing different modalities into a coherent diagnostic language. The aperture adjusts to find the right view; the field lines map hidden structures. Together, they form a singular, dynamic container for the targeted ‘O’.

Thus, the logo operates on three integrated levels: the container (our integrated system architecture), the target (clinical precision), and the foundation (engineering discipline). It is a complete visual statement: Panascope delivers the wide-angle context and the zoomed-in detail, all built upon a platform of trusted execution.

The name is short, stable, and unambiguous. The logo makes that promise visible. There is no hidden mythology—only a clear declaration of purpose: to advance care through imaging systems that see wholly, focus clearly, and perform reliably.

Our Values & Purpose

Panascope exists to deliver imaging systems that radiologists and technologists can trust for consistent, diagnostic quality results. That trust comes from three values, each rooted in how the company actually works — not in marketing language.

1. Specification Integrity – No Inflated Numbers, No Hidden Trade offs

Every published specification is honest and verifiable. Spatial resolution, noise, dose indices (CTDIvol, DLP), reconstruction times — all are real world numbers, not theoretical maxima from ideal lab conditions. A 0.2 mm loss in resolution can hide a hairline fracture. A 5 % noise increase can obscure an early lung nodule. A 10 % deviation in CT number uniformity can mimic pathology. Panascope does not exaggerate. Specification integrity is how the company respects the patient behind every image.

2. Vertical Control – Owning the Technology Definition, Not Just Assembly

Panascope is not a trader of components. The company defines every product architecture, selects and qualifies every critical component — X ray tubes, detectors, magnets, coils, generators — and sets the performance standards that manufacturing partners must meet. Partners handle precision fabrication under Panascope’s quality system. Panascope owns the design validation, the integration sequence, the software stack, and the final sign off. This vertical control means when a streak artifact appears on a CT image, Panascope does not point to a component supplier. It diagnoses the root cause and fixes it. When an MRI coil shows signal dropout, replacement is measured in days, not months. Ownership is not outsourced.

3. Department Long Accountability – From Installation to Every Scan

Accountability does not end at the hospital loading dock. Panascope provides on site training for technologists, remote troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous quality support. When something unexpected happens — and in real radiology departments, it will — the response is solutions, not blame. Help extends beyond hardware: throughput bottlenecks, staff turnover, dose management protocols, PACS integration. The only measure of success is whether the radiology department runs smoothly, day after day.

These values guide every product decision, every partner relationship, and every hour the company spends. Panascope is not a middleman. It is a brand that stands behind every image its systems produce.
